Borges Machado is an experimental duo that works with improvisation and field recordings. Their debut album, released in the summer of 2020, consists of sound art pieces inspired by urban soundscapes. The duo's music making consists of discovering and recording a soundscape in the field, interacting with it and building a dialogue through free improvisation.

Performances take on an interdisciplinary approach bringing visual arts, movement and music together in order to create a unique sensory experience.
