Fernando Machado

As a teacher and Workshop Leader, Fernando Machado has always been fascinated by innovative ways of music making and the effects it can have on people and their communities. Fernando is a highly qualified music workshop leader holding a Masters degree in Music Leadership from the Guildhall School of Music with a strong background in music education and community contexts.

 

His music workshops focus on generating a creative, group energy which encourages participants to explore, create and perform music to standards way beyond their expectations. Fernando's dynamic and friendly workshop style is designed to inspire a collective sense of teamwork and group interaction and build the confidence of each individual to express themselves musically.

Fernando leads creative workshops in early years settings, mental health settings, primary and secondary schools, prisons, hospitals, hospices, universities as well as training sessions for music educators, facilitators and workshop leaders.​
